Family evening

The family also plays an important role in prevention for young people. These evenings are geared towards exchanges and dialogue between parents and children. It's about co-building the

cultural and social bridges in families, to tackle complex youth issues in an atmosphere favorable to bilateral listening and "family dialogues"

Meeting with the 10Ps around smoking and influence

Bullying

Giving a voice to young people implies the availability of competent professionals as well as technical and material resources. Thanks to the identity of local institutions as a resource for youth, the positive links that schools and the socio-cultural center have, young people have created a project aimed at denouncing acts of harassment and the serious consequences for their own development.

This project will materialize in mini series of several episodes.

Self esteem

At 11 years old, the expectations of the community are numerous.

Project all talents.

Youth Commission

Many institutions welcome young people, but it is still rare that these institutions offer them a real place. The priority of the youth commission is to involve in matters that concern them , to allow the various institutions (EC, Youth Prevention Commission , municipality, etc.) to have the opinion and advice of young people on the themes of the community life in their own territory and allow them to count in political life

local.

Training of professionals

In collaboration with EnJeu and the UAPE departments, we have launched the creation of a local continuing education center. This pole offers training for the directors of local youth institutions and specific training for professionals. These training sessions are led by speakers who are among the most recognized in the fields concerned. The aim is to offer training courses specifically chosen by professionals in the field on immediate issues identified as interinstitutional. Thanks to this location, we have facilitated the participation of all professionals in training courses located in the Sesame center.

Healthy cooking

Food is directly linked to health. Problematic eating behaviors remain extremely difficult to identify among the youth population. Doubts, misconceptions, but also image and self-esteem are also complex factors that involve not only health, but also social and cultural skills. This is why the Sesame center and the school have developed an activity that involves both school nurses and professionals in the social and cultural sector of the center.

Fight against racism

For several years, and in partnership with the BCI and the SLR, we have offered young people various workshops and activities on the themes of human dignity. The resurgence of acts of violence

all over the world and recently in Europe obliges us to act effectively with young people to protect them from racist, xenophobic, discriminatory and radical ideologies.

All the actions directly involve young people, whether it is to animate the debates or in the creation of educational materials.

Screens and new technologies

Today screens are omnipresent. Whether it is during leisure time with video games, social relations with social or cultural networks with series, "lms and videos, young people use the screens continuously and for reasons as diverse as they are varied. obliges us, the youth players, to re # think how to support young people for a reasonable and safe use of screens and new technologies in general. This state of affairs prompted the teams of the two institutions to set up a reflection complex on these new practices and technologies with the objective of developing an effective prevention program, perfectly updated and updatable.

Promotions evening

Evening dedicated to 11S students finishing their compulsory schooling. A student committee and the members of the organizing committee prepare a party just before the summer holidays. The aim of this evening is to offer young people the opportunity to celebrate their schooling in complete safety, without alcohol and without illicit substances.

Pilot project and experimentation

By its very nature of addressing an evolving human population that must face changes, evolutions, societal and cultural transformations, prevention must develop experimental projects to remain relevant and effective! This is why, in partnership with the various local, cantonal and federal institutions, several projects are under development:

- creation of a modular teaching kit (Association Mots en Shared),

- monitoring in “inter-institutional socio-educational network” of young people in difficulty,

- participation of the Sesame center in the 360 ° Concept,

- modeling of specific skills in socio-cultural animation.

Openness, communication, information

The questions of tolerance, respect for differences and living together remain universal principles which, de facto, are interinstitutional. The Sesame center has set up a workshop with young people on these themes. This approach enabled young people to create several posters with their own formal languages, their own representations. These posters are currently distributed simultaneously at the socio-cultural center and at the secondary establishment in Rolle. Thanks to this joint action, we communicate simultaneously on the openness of our institutions.

Entrepreneur seed

In partnership with the Department of Child and Youth Policy (PEJ Project), the “Seed of Entrepreneur” program develops collective projects within a class, promotes partnership and the search for resources. , involves young people in the life of the local community and introduces them to the business world while enhancing their skills.

Rolle schools, in partnership with the Sésame center, are leading this process with the aim of bringing young people to fruition.

Smoking

Prevention against smoking among young people remains a complex process. The numbers

messages on the health risks of tobacco have, for several years, failed to make young people aware of this scourge. In partnership with the PSPS team, we tackle youth smoking in their own cultural and social context, by promoting realistic dialogue and following their own questions, raising awareness among young people on issues of social, cultural and group dynamics. , opening up the issue of the reality of tobacco growing in poor countries, of the particularly polluting industry and of strategic marketing openly oriented towards young people.
